   Greyhound Pets of America is a tax-exempt, non-profit corporation founded in 1987 for the purpose of finding homes for ex-racing greyhounds and educating the public on the suitability and availability of greyhounds as pets.
   At the end of the fiscal year 2003, Greyhound Pets of America has placed 58,908 greyhounds into loving forever homes.
   Greyhound Pets of America has over 10,000 members and 47 chapters across the country.     
   Our programs depend on donations and volunteers to accomplish our wonderful mission. All funds go directly to our programs; the organization is solely comprised of volunteers.      
   Whether you send a donation to our National organization or directly to one of our chapters, you will be helping these wonderful creatures find a forever home.
